Terms and Conditions

1. AGREEMENT:
Enrollment at AlgoAtWork Robotics Academy implies an agreement to abide by the policies outlined in these Terms and Conditions. These terms and conditions constitute an agreement between you and AlgoAtWork Robotics Academy.

2. PROGRAM DURATION AND REQUIREMENTS:
The program is designed for a duration of four years, with each year divided into ten months. Students are required to have a laptop, any model from the year 2020 onwards, for coding and robotics. Mobile phones and tablets are not to be used for coding and robotics.

3. EQUIPMENT PROVIDED:
AlgoAtWork Robotics Academy will provide the Arduino kits required for the course. Additional tools like a screwdriver set, glue gun, screws, etc., can be bought by the participants as per their needs.

4. PAYMENT TERMS:

The fees for the program can be paid monthly, quarterly, or annually. An admin fee will be charged only with the first payment as part of the registration process. The payment for subscriptions will be made over a period of 10 months.

5. REFUNDS:
Refunds for the program fees will be granted on a case-by-case basis. Refund requests must be submitted in writing within 14 days from the commencement of the course. After this period, no refunds will be granted.

6. SECURITY OF PAYMENT INFORMATION:
We have partnered with PayFast, a trusted payment gateway, to ensure the safety and security of your credit and debit card details. Your payment information will be encrypted and protected in compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

7. LIABILITY:
AlgoAtWork Robotics Academy will not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage to personal property.

8. PROGRAM CHANGES:
AlgoAtWork Robotics Academy reserves the right to make changes to the program, including the schedule, curriculum, and equipment provided, as necessary.

9. STUDENT BEHAVIOR:
Students are expected to behave in a respectful and responsible manner at all times. Any student who disrupts the learning environment may be removed from the program.

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY:
All program materials, including the curriculum and the Arduino kits, remain the intellectual property of AlgoAtWork Robotics Academy.

11. PRIVACY POLICY:
AlgoAtWork Robotics Academy will manage your personal information in line with South African privacy laws and regulations.

12. GOVERNING LAW:
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising under or related to these Terms and Conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by them.
